Social And Emotional Intelligence Coaching

– Another way of being smart
– Heighten Success, improve your life and become an Influential Leader.

We will cover 26 competencies that determine how we manage ourselves and how we handle our relationships. First of the Series is:

Personal Power

Here are some of the qualities people have with “Strong Personal Power.”

Have a calm inner conviction about who they are and their ability to get the things they want and need in life Are able to distinguish between the things they have control over in life and those they do not; and don’t stress over the latter.

Define themselves from the inside out (“I’m capable,” “I’m good at managing setbacks,” “I’m pretty good at managing conflicts,” “I’m creative”) rather than from the outside in (“I’m a Vice President,” “I’m a banker,” “I’m a lawyer,” or “I’m a doctor”)

  • Know what they want and go after it
  • Here are some of the qualities people have who are lacking Personal Power.
  • Avoid confrontations with people, even to get a problem resolved or when the confrontation might be best in the long run.
  • Are unable to set boundaries or demand respectful treatment from others.
  • Can you strengthen your “Personal Power”? YES!

Some Developmental Tips

Set and keep boundaries – Example: Before saying “yes” ask yourself the following question: “By saying yes to this, will that force me to say “no” to something else that’s important to me?” If the answer to that questions is yes, then evaluate its importance.

Become aware of communication circumstances when you put yourself down or use language that suggests powerlessness or a lack of confidence. For example, be aware of allowing interruptions. Stop saying “I’m sorry” frequently. Stop the “uptalk,” that rising inflection at the end of a statement that makes you sound tentative.

Become aware of weak language such as tag lines (“this is a good idea, isn’t it?), and modifiers (like “hopefully,” and “I guess this is a good idea,” or even “I’m just the front desk person,” or “I’m only a beginner”).

Our language teaches people how to treat us. If our language lacks power, we are perceived as lacking power, and we are treated as lacking power. Enlist the help of a good communication coach to ensure your language has power.

Identify those circumstances and situations where you can have influence and commit to making an impact in those areas.

Continuing Education Extended by A Rabid Fan with a Tasmanian Devil May Dental Care Aptitude

Part 5: Once we go down the road, there is no coming back to a world unlearned stuff, and things. As I, you will be a more professional person of some dispute.

Many may deride you for the elitism you'll now have, but we ain't gonna let them decipher who were ares, weather I storm around like rumple shill skin or whether you shelter yourself and your dental career from wherever I veer off the path of this Mercury Laredo Texas mess or down in an Old's Mobile Toronado, ramble paging through to Alabama.
Obviously, I'm writing these things in jest (making a funny). I just hope as you follow me through my detours of virtual reality to actual reality we stay on the same e-book page. Especially, when it comes to dental CE, the fact I offer it here from a holistically viral online viable source.
More meanderings below in my avatar me virtual environs, but first this announcement:

Hygienists Dental Care CE, Major Responsibility, Education Portal Loaded Fully

Dental CE is vital to every part of a dental practice, but hygienists have the most face (and mouth) time with us patients. Therefore, their education is especially important...

Part 4: Education is a trip. Online learning is the ship. Find the portal here, and knowledge equip.

Part 3: Our learning affects others, sometimes dramatically. Then lack of education should not be a goal or something to be proud about.

Hygienists are one group who know this. And here is a place for them to 'know it' even more.

Part 2: Dental CE for Hygienists:

Part 1: Tweet
#Hygienists~you are a major portion of our dental visit time. Your education's then vital to what's accomplished by us: CE URL http://bit.ly/NDC-Hygienists-DentalCE

Why Is Continuing Education For Dental Professionals Different in Each State?

Learning is great. Leading is always better, right? Expecting less is a questionable idea, I would posit. Dental care education should not have a growth strategy not a stagnant trajectory, says this one little ole consumer.

Should Continuing Education for dentists and other dentistry industry professionals (CE hours per year) barely be foot noted in a state's regulations?

For other states, it's even less than a foot. Like Wyoming, Colorado and Wisconsin; they give requirements the boot: none, zero, nada, zippo, CE-Ya!

On the other foot in the lead, there is South Dakota, which requires dentists to get 100 hours of dental CE each year!

Tennessee is somewhere in the middle of the pack at 40. Here is Minnesota dentists are required to do 50 hours. Checkup on your dentists state of affairs in CE must dos.

Dr. White does more than the requirements to keep his patients healthier and happier for longer. Not trust the marketing consultant? I wouldn't either.

My job as a marketer (a.k.a. makeitupasyougoslickster) is not to convince you of anything. The only ethical thing I can do when it comes to your health and what to do is for me to get you to consider something better.

The unethical thing would be to stick you deep into the stale gulf of sub par, roll you in the same old, enough-to-get-by short term value dentistry, dipped in the schemes of lackluster and divert you from the very little continuing education other dentists seem to muster.

Advanced Periodontal (Gum) Treatment: Soft Tissue Health~Local to Systemic

Dr. Kent E. White of Nashville recently attended a vital continuing education course covering periodontal (gum) disease management and tooth loss prevention.
With about 80% U.S. adults having some form of gum disease, the need for more extensive training and education to help patients here in the Nashville area and around the country is obvious. Dr. White and his team are dedicated to providing the highest level of treatment to combat the effects of this all too common and very aggressive gum, enamel, root, bone, teeth and smile appearance ravaging disease.

Fortunately, Dr. Kent White and his team at the Center for Advanced Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee are able to help patients no matter what the condition of their smile is. While ongoing prevention and early intervention are better than later in the disease progression, patients should never worry their condition is untreatable.

Even if significant tooth loss has occurred, Dr. White can develop a treatment plan to restore oral health and smile confidence. From replacing one or two teeth with dental implants to a complete smile makeover, there are wide range of therapies he can employ. His expertise in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dental care is something many patients have seen give them the youthful and healthy smile they deserve.

One of the most vital elements of effective periodontal disease management is Dr. White’s ability to use many non-surgical techniques to maintain the health of your teeth and even to bring a smile back from the brink. At the Center for Advanced Dentistry the focus is optimal dental health along with maintaining a youthful appearance to your smile. Totally healthy smiles are great looking smiles.

Dr. White uses state of the art periodontal technologies in treatment and for accurate diagnosis. Getting away for the surgical aspects of treating periodontal disease as much as possible insures more people will seek out care.

Some of the ‘comfort technology’ Dr. Kent White of Nashville utilizes is a piezoelectric ultrasonic scaler and irrigator that requires less pressure when removing the build up on teeth and the jaw bone. In many cases, we are able to eliminate the need for local anesthesia during the procedure. The handpiece he uses is designed to improve the his field of vision without causing an increase in heat from the instrument.

The dentistry continuing education course Dr. Kent E. White attended was developed and sponsored by Zila, Inc.

> It offers comprehensive oral care and cancer screening products.

Healthy Mouth. Healthy Patient. Healthy Practice.

Soft Tissue Management® (STM)® is a program unique to Zila. With more than 20 years of proven results, STM® incorporates the use of Zila dental products for treating patients at all stages of oral health – from healthy to advanced periodontitis.

STM® is:
  • An organized system for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of periodontal disease, and for the early detection of oral cancer.
  • A non-surgical approach to diagnose, prevent, treat and manage the progression of early to moderate stages of periodontal disease in a general practice.
  • A program that provides comprehensive and structured practice management tools for early to moderate disease with ongoing support.

All USA Get in On & Act Today: Dental CE vs. Teeth Lost, See How Much Either Due Cost!

Try comparing your state situation on tooth health to dentist education wealth...
  • and 'maybe' lack of it causing smile stealth!

What is the status of dental continuing education in your state? Dentists, dentistry professionals are required to take a certain number of 'credit' CE hours, often determined by their state dental boards.

However, there are some states that have no requirements from what I can tell...
Check your state below or Sign Up for Online Dental CE.

Almost all we do involves education. Requirements should be little more than waking up to the coffee.

COMPARISON

Take the number above 0 or higher from the dental requirement and compare to these tooth loss states by state. See what you come up with, or of course, don't come out of the mouth pith...
All Teeth Lost By Age 65 Stats/Percentage:

It seems that North Carolina and Indiana had the closest 'education required and complete edentulism (total tooth loss)' correlation. However, those two states are not in the Top Five of populations totally edentulous at age 65: Again, CE state numbers here.

Earth to Google! We need your put in on this dire suggest about teeth and who is trained to stop the lack of usable enamel on the planet.

Can those who must Facebook up to the level of required learning needed make the upgrade or will loss of teeth spread like piled, tired enamel along the road?
